Apex Street is a new residential project that responds to site, outlook, and a mid-century architectural influence.

Located in Balmoral on a steeply sloping site, the design is shaped by both topography and view. The home is carefully positioned to capture expansive outlooks toward the Gateway Bridge and Brisbane city, with the built form stepping with the land to create a cohesive and grounded response.

The architecture draws from mid-century principles, expressed through clean lines, horizontal emphasis, and a strong relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Living areas are oriented to engage directly with the views, while maintaining a sense of enclosure and privacy.

The sloping site informs both planning and section. Spaces are arranged across two levels to maximise natural light, ventilation, and connection to landscape, while ensuring functional clarity throughout the home.

Materiality and detailing are considered to reinforce the architectural language, with a restrained palette supporting the overall composition.

Currently under construction, Apex Street will further demonstrate a considered approach to residential design, where site conditions and architectural intent are resolved into a cohesive whole.
