ANN ST FORTITUDE VALLEY COMMERCIAL OFFICES
Ann Street is a compact office fitout defined by clarity, restraint, and a considered approach to workplace functionality.
Located in Fortitude Valley, the project was designed for a boutique firm, requiring an efficient layout that could accommodate a small team while maintaining a sense of openness and cohesion. The plan supports six full-time staff, with a central open meeting area and integrated kitchenette forming the core of the space.
The design adopts a minimalist architectural language, focusing on proportion, alignment, and material consistency rather than overt expression. Elements are deliberately simplified to reduce visual noise, creating a calm and focused working environment. Spatial planning is precise, ensuring that each area serves a clear purpose without compromising the overall sense of openness. The meeting space is integrated within the plan rather than isolated, allowing it to function flexibly as both a collaborative and transitional zone.
Materiality is restrained and cohesive, reinforcing the clarity of the design and allowing the architecture to feel resolved despite the compact footprint. Ann Street reflects a disciplined approach to small-scale commercial design, where efficiency and restraint are used to create a functional and well-considered workplace.
