Sunshine coast luxury apartment renovation

This project is a considered transformation of a coastal apartment, shaped by light, outlook, and a refined approach to contemporary living.

Located on absolute ocean-front on the Sunshine Coast, the renovation reworks the existing layout to strengthen the connection between interior spaces and the surrounding environment. Living areas are opened and reoriented to engage with natural light and views, creating a more fluid and cohesive spatial experience.

The architectural approach is defined by restraint. Rather than introducing unnecessary complexity, the design focuses on clarity of planning, proportion, and material consistency to elevate the existing structure.

Materiality plays a central role in establishing a calm and resolved environment. A restrained palette is used to reflect the coastal context, allowing light, texture, and subtle variation to define the character of the space.

Joinery, detailing, and transitions are carefully considered to ensure continuity throughout the apartment, reinforcing a sense of cohesion across all areas.
